P2P is dumb. It wont get rid of anything really. People will still try to hack people will still try to bot. Blizzard wont get around to it untill a later date anyway. They wont have lots of mods as they do for WoW. P2P is dumb for a small game like Diablo.

Yeah because paying 15 bucks a month stops all the gold farming and scams from happening in WoW.

well i don't think that bot on d2 killed the game. I'd rather say it has kept Diablo 2 alive.
Just imagine what the hell mode would be like if there was no bot to rush baal and diablo. Lots of players couldn't xp, so couldn't lvl, so coudn't drop sth good enough to play hell mode ...

I think there will always be some guys who will make bots. A good solution would be to avoid that some chars like hammerdin can rush the whole game on their own.
This would make the game a true coop one. without asshole showing off all the time.

So i disagree with the idea of paying for d3

you can bot in p2p games too theres a wow leveling bot you can buy

i like botting in d2 its fun to see that gg item on your log in the morning but its also fun to play manually (while letting the rest of my bots run ofc)

botting and jsp have kept d2 alive

theres no trade games anymore except really poor people that randomly picked up their older brothers d2 and started playing

i think p2p would make d3 like d2 used to be with very few bots and more poor people which might not be a bad thing

it sure would be annoying though

Seems like your only defenses are "It's only $15" and "It'll get rid of bots"
Both are invalid because I'm sure your parents would be paying $15 a month and not you, plus not everyone can afford other monthly fees beside the ones they already pay, and it won't stop bots whatsoever.
