Some shit will happen with Tyrael going mad and he searches for something throughout the games story, in the end he finds that thing and merges with an unwilling Diablo after using it. The final boss will be a fusion between Diablo and Tyrael and it will be a completely insane and epic battle.

Tyreal would be cool

A piece of the world stone hits Tyreal and grounds his soul as a mortal. He later finds out that Baal had suceeded in joining his soul with the World Stone and it corrupts himself turning evil and using his powers to resurrect the three prime evils with himself being the final fight, a mortal Angel.

But throughout the story tyreal gets you (the new hero) to help restore his magic to bring natural unity back to the world, but hes really getting you to help resureect the evils. Through out the story you notice Tyreal chaning, like nervousness, growing anger, and acts of cruelty.

The expansion will consist of Tyreal getting into heaven and creating angelic daemons and ending with the fight of him.
