Astral Presence is nearly useless with this build. You're most likely not spamming any spells that require AP. Galvanizing Ward, while somewhat useful, doesn't scale very well and becomes obsolete in Act 3 and beyond (the extra two minutes may easily be made up by forming a habit of re-casting Force Armor more frequently).
Illusionist, on the other hand, will save your life more times than you can count. It doesn't always work as it should (or as we would like it to), but it works just enough to be worth a place at your passives.
