I seem to have a lot of problems upgrading my monk's damage. I know I don't have a lot of Dexterity, but it doesn't seem like I can get much more Dexterity without paying 20 more millions and/or sacrifying survivability (which seems borderline to me (750 all res, 4.2k armor and 37k life). I know my weapon's DPS isn't very high either, but I still need my 800 LoH there and weapons with High dps/dex/loh/crit/socket are pricy as ***. Should I aim for a very strong Main haind(High DPS + Crit Damage) and a weaker main hand with (500+ LoH) + a LoH amulet to compensate? Or is there anything I can seem to upgrade on my build.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Wunky-1830/hero/10883226Your dex is extremely low and the armor is pretty low as well.
Just don't worry about the weapons at the moment.
You should get a new left ring and a new ammy. Don't know what your budget is but you should try to get something like this for now.
Ring:
Dex/Crit%/Crit dmg or Attack speed/Arcane res
don't worry about the vital. you should plenty already. you only need 30k life if you have proper res/armor numbers.
Ammy:
+200dex/some vital/arcane res (no allres)/+6 crit chance with some crit dmg or some attack speed
If too expensive, forget the crit dmg or attack speed. Just get a lot of dex with high crit chance along with some res + life. Should be pretty cheap.
These will increase your dmg / armor all at the same time.
And upgrade your emerald to "star" on the weapons at least. Shouldn't cost you much. And the emeralds in pants and chest.. upgrade them to +42 dex ones at least.
