I have tried this in both act1 and act2 inferno and I have 43% crit change and 250 crit damage.
I guess I just don't get it all I get is not enough fury.
Every once in a while and I mean very rarely I will get it going and bam I just can't run out of fury and kill everything but this is VERY RARE.

Anyone know what I need to do to get this correct?

Is there a macro or something that would make it work?

Is there some piece of eq that makes it work or ? I am totally confused and frustrated.

43% isnt really that high if youre using axe/mace. 43% would be fine for a mighty weapon though
but its more likely that you arent using correct ww technique, or are fighting kiting mobs. you should ww long enough to proc nados, dont ww short

The ww nado barb is really the nado barb thats what gets most the LOH and fury generated to keep you ww'in
you pretty much gotta lay nados down and ww so that the monsters chase and get hit by nado

Currently I'm using a Rend Build just because I can't get into the WW Barb very well.

So jackdan, what you mean is... I'm just kiting the mobs trough the whole area back and forth?
Cuz I tried it yesterday again, spamming nados and running in circles around the mobs. What happend -> out of fury.
Other problem is keeping an eye on sprint to keep it up.

Thanks!

cc? you may need more skill to play this build... it isn't so easy at start.

I have a question.

Offhand A

Offhand B

I'm aware that offhand A has a higher shown dps than offhand B. However, B has a higher ias. Does that ias on B affects the overall nado damage?

yes it does. the nados damage is always determined by the mainhand damage. the nado speed, however, is determined by the speed of the weapon which was swung last by an ordinary attack. this will on average be 50% mh, 50% oh.

therefore, the speed of tornadoes in the long run will be 0.5*(mainhand speed) + 0.5*(offhand speed).
thus, the 11% attack speed on offhand B are about equal to a 5.5% speed increase for the tornadoes.

on the other hand, there are experiments which suggest that about 80% of a double nado barbs damage come from tornadoes, only the rest from ww. so if we exclude str for the moment, the comparison would be roughly as follows: 0.8*1.055 + 0.2*538/728 = 0.991

hence, offhand B would do about 0.9% less damage than offhand A if both had the same amount of strength. if the 67 additional strength that offhand B offers over offhand A improve your dps by more than 0.9%, then offhand B yields the higher overall damage.

the difference should, however, not be very large. in comparison, offhand A offers 98 vit. and offhand A is also better if you use bash rather frequently to finish off mobs that run away.
to sum it up, i think that offhand B offers more damage, but only by an extremely narrow margin. i personally would thus use offhand A.

What does a poormans ww/nado barb look for in a mainhand and offhand? I'm not as rich as everyone else

mainhand: as high dps as possible with either 60+ crit dam or a socket.
offhand: high attack speed (sword or dagger) with high life on hit (800+) and some other nice stats, like str and crit or a socket. dps of the offhand is completely irrelevant for budget barbs!

take a look at my profile, i built my nado barb for around 1.2~1.3million.
could anybody suggest which parts i should upgrade next? i'm on a rather tight budget, only have 500k now and a bow that is on AH bid for 2m.
