rofl i saw a pattern and understand what the other number means. this last one will be the nail in the coffin to see stats of unid items.

0:0:6:0 - 4-affix rare
0:0:7:0 - 5-affix rare
0:0:8:0 - 6-affix rare

That's all your getting from the code. The long numbers are random gen templates b4 id

Cool find tho I just wish there was a way to get to the after id code b4 id'ing :wallbash:

Only retarded people would ever consider buying unids anyways.

i don't care too much about the unid stuff but if this is true, it's about time for me to admind that blizzard is just stupid.

The first big wtf was when people found out that playing with your sys clock allowed you to mess with the AH.
This is the second time. It means that hidden information is sent and the hope for the client to keep it hidden. WTF? seriously! In D2 people figured out certain packet sequences to send in oder to cause overflows, crash a server instance and allow duping. Do they really think people won't figure out to make such hidden information readable if it is sent already?

That's not true. While the actual stats it rolls seem to be seeded, you can tell the affixes it rolls.

While doing this "trick" in-game, you will get the 1055553278 and 1176553157 values. But if you do it in the auction house on an UNID item, the affixes rolled are revealed (in reverse order.) E.g. 206301572,180459832: turns into :1804598324,206301572: after being ID'd.

The first digit set of the HURL is the item type and level required (and/or ilvl):

Quote
Ring Level (There are no level 17,19, 21, or level 22 rings. Hence the +1 increments.)
1146967285 = 16
1146967286 = 18
1146967287 = 20
1146967288 = 23

Amulet Level (As you can see, a different item type starts somewhere completely different.)
1682228621 = 23

The 2nd digit set of the HURL I have no idea what it does.

The 3rd set is the actual affixes being rolled. For example:

206301572 = "Of Assault" (Some Strength range around 60-70-ish)
1804598324 = "Assailing" (Some IAS range around 6-7%-ish)

You're forgetting about the hex editing of the auction house to allow the buyout of items with only a bid set on them and no buyout. :)

Example item I just found:

:-1214858097, 720915898, -987599047, 1283538061:

Cold Resist (46-50), MF (13-14%), Int (84-89), Dex (84-89)

So sure, you can't tell (as far as I know) whether it has 46, 47, 48, 49, or 50 Cold Resist. But does it really matter if you can tell it has 46-50 Cold Resist to begin with?

Where's your god now?
