Well, theres no doubt that being able to sell items in Diablo 3 on the auction house for real life money is a direct result of sites like jsp and such.

I'm not complaining. I can finally make $$ for all the hours I put into these fucking games? Fuck yes.

The biggest one I'm hoping for - and still havent found info about, is how long our characters will be stored on battle.net (so we dont have to worry about 3 month inactive chars being deleted) - and whether there will be a ladder system.

It was confirmed that d3 was free actually. You just gotta buy the game, no micro-transaction either.

But the biggest problem with the auction house, will probably be that you will not be able to find item with gold. Everyone will sell their item for real life money. I hope they can find a way around this.

theres no ladder whatsoever and the characters will never expire.

I like this concept of real $$. Finaly no concerns about selling stuff.

Ladder was added to give people a chance to be free of hacked items and dupes - but they are on ladder still, every time it resets.

They will need to do a lot to prevent the hacks from coming back... unless it stays a battle.net only game - they might be better able to prevent some cheats then.

And the AH seems a severe blow to JSP.
Though, people will probably still use JSP to circumvent the blizzard-cut in the auction house.
