I'm currently using this wave of light build and it's a lot of fun and is just as good as sweeping wind in terms of overall farm speed.

interesting, I admit it's a good build but I have to disagree about the farm speed. Being able to get 34% ms with fleet footed and just tele stomping around with thunderclap can't be beat.

Any good monk farming vids of that build? Thanks.

of the normal thunder clap sweeping winds build that like every monk uses?

Upgraded both of my weapons last night.

Got the mainhand for 1.5mil buyout
Got the offhand for 4mil bidding

Love the speed and dmg. 53281.7 dmg is unbuffed.

Just did a full act 3 run without dying once. It takes about 1 hour to do the whole act. 24% movement speed is just so very useful in the fight as well as farming FAST.

LOH seems to be enough for my playstyle. I'll probably try to upgrade my left ring next. Then my shoulder with more dex/vit + life %.

when you guys say 1 hour to do the whole act...
it took me at least 2 hours to do so. I have higher dps, faster move speed.
do you guys just aim the quest and not fully explore each maps?

Here's my monk Pretty cheap items on him. Don't play alot, so i aim to win auctions by low-bids.

Any suggestions for obvious upgrades? I'm having trouble getting more DPS without loosing my surviveability...

i dont know about them, i start at the second heart quest then do depths 2/3, rakkis crossing, arreat crater 1/2 and then just follow the quests to finish the acts.

takes about an hour.

Huh? I don't get it. Do you die a lot? Higher dps and faster movespeed do not guarantee faster farming. Not that simple. THere are other stats that factor in here.

I've been farming act 3 for so long now. I cover the area from the storefront to Azmo. Not skipping any of the area. I rarely die so don't really waste any time walking back and whatnot.

EDIT: Oh I skip that area from the base to Bridge of korsikk. That's just a huge empty space with couple elites + barracks. I don't do that area.

swap one of your skills (Probably Seven-Sided Strike) for Breath of Heaven (Blazing Wrath) will increase your damage by 15% (which for you is 3.1K damage). I could be in the minority here but I just don't feel Seven-Sided Strike is that effective.
