Yea I already have a 500m wizard that hits these points. Was looking for a more extensive guide for a friend to read who's building a wizard. He hasn't played since release pretty much, I'm too lazy to explain everything to him, was hoping somebody knew of a youtube video or written guide somewhere

I am at the 2.74 bp
I can hit 3.01 with a 10ias Chant Will instead of my OS one.

Will 3.01 make a big difference ... I am pretty comfortable at the momnet with 2.78
So which option is better

2.74 with 200k
3.01 with 160k

I know paper dmg doesn't matter much for wiz.
Most attack speed is better ofc.
But 40k lost seems a bit much... is it a good trade off.

For arcon is just plain dps/ehp stacking. LS weapon is required for higher mps, if you got budget, try finding conquest sword with ls/int/socket/crit damage, but your fury is quite good. Attack speed helps as every other damage stat. I would suggest a little upgrade for you - rare pants with 150 int+ 200 vita+ 2 sockets 60 all res and + armor. You don't really need loh as arcon.



I am at 175k dps 3,01 aps 57 cc and 1150 wand with a marquise gem would give me 30-35k paper dps. It's quite a lot, and versus multiple targets 2,74 is similiar to 3,01, however 3,01 is much more versatile and offers greater loh returns, more apoc, better freeze. So in the end it's like 1-15% more effective dps with socketed wand versus better survivability, smoother gameplay and insane speed of ias one. I use ias wand because I love speed it offers and I am playing high apoc consuming sns + meteor build with 28 apoc so increased loh and ap returns help me a lot.
EDIT: I should also add that if you have 100+ping higher speed wiz won't work that well.

ls weap is not needed if you're smart with the reflect dmg mobs and running at 500k ehp. it is preferred cuz u can just play with one hand and blind fire everything if u do. i like to watch tv and farm at the same time on mp10 lol
the only difference between the typical archon wizard and cm wizard gear wise is the helmet, weapon, and off hand. in some cases the pants as well, cm uses something tanky whereas archon uses something glassy. oh yah and loh. archons proc like 1 loh hit every second or somethin its terrible so we dont use it
specifically:

some cases:
innas pants
zuni boots
zuni ring

you wont need to tank up as much due to the archon armor + resistance buff. but it still helps, 450-500k ehp is comfortable for farming.

Hey guys I´m thinking about building my cm wiz into an Archon... Right now my gear is quite decent imo but I´d obviously need to do some change @ 1h/offhand helm etc.. my question is if I should keep my rings/amu/bracers and if not what stats to look for.
