ive been making mine

borns shoulders
borns weapon
captains pants
captains boots
magefist - fire % needed etc...
cindercoat - fire % / cost reduction + epiphany cost reduction = unlimited LTK
royal ring of grandeur - trying to get 2/3 CDR / CC / CD then rerolling the Atk speed into the other is going to be fun.
gift of silaria - weapon gets 5 primaries so you can keep attack speed while getting the CDR
witching hour - sacrificing attack speed on everything else, need to make it up on belt. WH is of course the best atk speed belt



with bracers / helm / ring / amulet left

soj is the obvious choice, but do you pick CC / CD / CDR?
amulet is always -> elemental % / dex / CC / CD and theyre all massive amounts, so fuck giving up super deeps for 1 second of CDR

been using reapers because i dont have everything and there is downtime where i run out of spirit. probably pick up strongarm for the deeps knockback boost.




now for the helmet...
do you get the CDR helm and get -> CDR / socket / dex / crit or LTK %
do you get andy and get -> socket / dex / fire / crit or LTK %

or is the CDR helmet special and get 5 primary?

You don't have to get it down to 70% if you are fire cdr hybrid. Even 50%-60% fking huge game changer.

I'm having problems deciding what I should be gambling on, any insight would be awesome.

I have been spending on one handed weapons but it seems RNGesus is telling me to try a different slot.

Also, any ideas how I could increase my monk's effectiveness outside of replacing weapons/better but same pieces?

I know my gloves/pants are underwhelming... wish gloves rolled trifecta, mainly using for set bonus. If I could find the shoulders and trifecta royal ring that'd be another 15% light damage... but neither can be gambled.

Any other ideas regarding crafting or anything would also be appreciated :)

Finally got a thunderfury.

Rolled meh stats with vita. Rolled the vita to attack speed for now and figured id use it for my 10% cool down reduction wep when I have that setup.

Grats ... I am still waiting patiently for my TF, SoH.
Lost interest with Royal ring / Shrine gloves. (my ehp/dmg probably will take a dive from crap rolls)

The only issue is that I am very comfortable playing with my Sledge & WKL from almost day 1.
I can't give up either one for TF / SoH.
I tried playing with my Sunkeeper cuz of the +29% to elites.
I miss the almost perma stun and not taking much dmg (mostly ground / ranged dmg to worry about)
Will decide whenever the RNG gods will let me have them.

My problem is I don't have a WKL or sledge lol.

Although both my weps had crit damage base so I lost sheet dps but the tf proc makes up for it

Just to help some CDR monks out, im currently on 50% cdr. I have 2 piece sunwuko set trying to reroll decent stats on them before i post them again.
On T1 elites, SSS is 1-2 hits kill and the cooldown is 5-6s so its pretty much spammable.

Notice i dont run any spirit generator skill, probably only run out of spirit if i need to run so much and there is no mobs to kill for globes (Which happen only so rarely....). Morever, Epiphany will almost regen your spirit fast enough.
If someone was wondering y not dual wield, the cdr on SSS makes up for the lost (There is actually no dmg lost even though lacking of 130% CHD, for this i've tested using dual wield compare to this daibo and you wont be seeing any difference in numbers)

Just to addon, i've near 600 life on spirit spent, constantly running around using tailwind = 6k regen per second.

To all you SSS AOE rune users, use CS implosion. It increases the effectiveness of sss so much. :)

Why is it so hard to get the crafting materials?

I swear I killed that sewer shark like 10 times on t3. No materials. RNG god! Come on man!

I support this, on a closely knitted group, SSS with the holy explosion rune will 1hit almost anything. But i have to give up fire ally :( which makes my white killing slightly slower when spamming epiphany :bonk:
