The reason D3 trophy room is dead:
1) Game has so many issues that there are hardly active players left, itemization is one of those issues
2) Itemization is so bad that there aren't even items worthy of the title "Trophy"

being totally honest a trophy has not to be the best item in slot, just a perfect or nearly perfect combination of stat.
let's take d2.
there are craft/rare belt like the 24fhr 30 str 60 life etc etc considered trophy
who the fuck use that belt, the only viable belt are arach, dungo (siggard if eu) and tg for some case.

same goes for a good amu on barb/zon while everyone use hl

same goes for erep rare armor when enigma >

all cases where everyone use the same unique/rw item but hey on d3 rare are crap :rofl:

Man this is so far from the truth. D2 has lld did you know? There are trophy lvl 9 items, trophy lvl 18 items and so on. Did you even play D2???

in before you claim D3 has lld too. Yeah lets lld with char equiped with lvl 70 gear stripped of lvl req. I hit you first you die. Maybe next round you hit me first I die. We have so much fun playing D3
