This game is shit. There aren't very many other games out right now that aren't shit or I'd play them instead.
PvP is the most pathetic PvP of any AAA studio game ever. Literally. When I think about the worst PvP I ever dealt with, this is always what comes to mind.
There is no class balance meaning if you arent Monk/Barb right now you aren't even gonna be able to do shit.
There is no item balance meaning if you aren't rocking one or two specific builds you cant 'compete'
There is no skill balance because all classes basically skip everything until a massive pile of whites then they nuke. This is all classes.
Botting is rampant because the game rewards playing more than it rewards skill. Blizzard does nothing about the bots. One major ban since launch. One.
D3 is nothing more than seeing who can play the most and who can fish the most GR's until they get lucky with the perfect GR.
Game is shit on so many levels but it starts with bad design. WoW did well because they had hardcore players like Kaplan and Pardo who told them how to do shit and they listened. D3 has a game design team who follow botters on twitter and dont even know D2 enough to have heard of Shako.
Shit game is shit. RPG/MMO are in a bad place right now, imho.
Accurate.
Unfortunately I still play this shit game, since MMO/RPG as you say are in a bad place right now. It seems they know the best way to fuck them up these days.
Only other RPG/MMO, I have any interest in is PSO2, but sega is a piece of shit, and won't ever release it in America officially. So that's just a lost hope there.
I play my games for what they are in general, such as I love diablo background, and starcraft lore, that's really the only reason I ever play them.
In terms of the games value of $60. Would say it's worth the price, for what it is. Though it needs a shit ton of improvements still, it seems like they are poking us with needles in the eye, and "Gradually" making it better but in a slow as fuck pace.
