I like the cube. I prefer trading because it generates an economy and makes the game more interesting (socially, speculators, etc).
The cube gives us a chance to get better gear, similar to the way trading for unidentifieds did (small gamble for a price).
I think only botters/runners are annoyed at the cube because people won't be buying tribox/runs since they can just collect the required mats and reroll/upgrade.
