You said you don't want to ''pay to win'', let me just say something. If you're actually PAYING MONEY to get good rolls, its actually pay to win.

It's not everyone who has 5$ to put on every single pieces of their equipement just to have 95% chance to get a perfect item. So, you're actually saying that, for those who has that money, they will rock and have their Perfect Geared character, and for those who don't, it's just ''Go fuck yourself and farm your ass off 500 hours time until you get full ancient.''

My answer : No, Diablo 3 is fine as it is. With the new Kanai's Cube, you will be farming over and over again, rerolling your items, trying to put them ancient, better stats, etc.

Diablo 3 was a ''Pay to win'', paying for your items with better stats instead of farming. Bringing a new ''Pay'' thing into the game would kill it again. D3 is now a ''Play to win'', farm your ass off and it's the same for everyone.


TL;DR

No, fuck it.
