OK, still almost all rare items, but I am at almost 600k damage now CC is over 50% and CD is over 400%. Still having survive ability problems with some elite packs. Can still upgrade with a couple rare items, but I think I am close to peaking at my ability with just rares. Need to start getting luckier and get some god damn Legs and Sets haha


It seems that the new trend is adding elemental damage. What elemental damage is best for a Hammersader?

And what items are the ones I should be looking to get the elemental damage on? What properties should I be losing to gain that elemental damage? And how much do 'I need'

IMO you should reroll your armor to 3 socks and str on your amulet
Try a fist of heavens build, I use to use Hammer but it never did much for me xD

Not the biggest fan of fissure. I prefer hammers, but they're worthless after about T2.. Just don't provide enough damage with them only hitting an enemy once (except the chain damage).

But, opinions on elemental damage?

i definitely like the ele dog on my crusader. Im running all light (justice:burst, Hammers:thunderstruck and provoke:charged up) i have 3 pieces that add ele dmg giving me about 50% dmg and it really boosts my dmg, you notice on the crits. If you have enough survivability and pieces where u can roll ele dmg i would say it is worthwhile

Lighning, fire, or holy. All three are viable options. I'd say focus on whatever you already have pieces of and try and collect more. I currently save all 3 types so when the situation arises where someone posts a decent build I have the gears.

I would say you can get the most fire with magefists and cindercoat but the fire build focuses on sweep as your wrath spender, which i find cumbersome on lower torments versus fire hammers.

Lightning is what I currently use, it works really well up to about t4, as I've read/heard. You can use sweep, fists of heavens, or hammers with this element.

Holy allows you to use 10% dmg passive which is nice, however, I can't really say much about it cause I haven't read much about it, let alone attempt it.

does ne1 know much about falling sword builds, or builds that involve its use or a possible free slot in a build?

I don't like it as much since it only crits for like 16m versus Heaven's Fury which does a lot better dps. However falling sword will get you out of a bind effectively.
