depends, if the offense was egregious enough, could result in perma-ban

This.

It all depends.

They won't get every account I'm sure.

But who cares? I'm just having fun watching some of these naive dupers QQing and hoping they would get away from it.

This is more entertaining than the game itself.

If an account is banned, I think there is a higher chance that a person just leaves, a drop in demand for any item is gone

if they are BOA, they can certainly continue to play with the BOA or upgrade to AH items.... demand still in the system,

I think Blizz would rather have SOME demand than none at all, and I think this is causing them to go through one by one

That is still a huge influence on the economy.
I heard almost anything good was bought up in that time.
Would that make all those items now account bound?

i don't think blizz wants to even risk it...if a player duped gold the items will most likely be boa now it appears
and that's if they get their acc back at all
players accounts were suspended for even coming into possession of duped gold but im sure their items wont be boa jus the gold removed

i mean the ah wasn't cleaned out there were still gg items that had been listed prior to the dupe so if players were able to make purchases
it could be ok for them to have every item on their acc boa because they jus acquired potentially billions (gold) of items for nothing

If you duped, it's pretty common knowledge that at the very least your account would be acc bound.

i actually thought this was fairly groundbreaking news, in addition, the OP, and the post over on BNET are the first confirmations of any recent blizzard activity, before they were just swirling rumors

And did you even read the stuff that posted?

Bliz's email to him said his account was rollback to pre-compromise state. What does that mean?
