Been reading up a little and checking some videos about it. Many things in that game is almost straight out copied from d2:lod - and that's a good thing.-
the item game looks NIFTY, almost like a mix of diablo 1 and diablo 2
the gritty, gothic art style suits me perfect. fuck them rainbows

I'll definitely give it a try and hopefully ill get hooked, but it will never compete with diablo 3. it's blizzard vs a garage-company - no shot for the small guy.
Give path of exile same budget as blizzard and it looks as if it would have been a better game though.

The developers are slowly killing it with each patch so they don't have to work on it anymore. They want to go back to Starcraft and World of Warcraft.
