I've been reading a lot of ww/barb guides and i am confused about plenty of things. Time to start asking I guess.
1) How much lifesteel do I need at 60k unbuffed, 80k unbuffed, 100k unbuffed etc dps?
2) Which is preferable to get 3% lifesteel from bloodthirsty rune or from a weapon? and why?
3) Which is cheaper 3% lifesteel from bloodthirsty rune or from a weapon?
4) If I have enough lifesteel in order not to need bloodthirsty what should my third rune be, considering the two standard are ruthless and weapon mastery?
5) What contributes more to my generation and life generation? Tornado or WW?
6) If at one given time I had fury just for 1 sprint or 1 ww. what would you choose considering you want to generate more fury?
7) How much effective health do I need for mp0,mp1,...,mp10?
8) How much unbuffed dps do I need for mp0, mp1...mp10?
9) I tried making a max crit build, currently sitting at 81 crit fully buffed (with wotb). I noticed it's easier to maintain wotb and generally the fury generation is perfect
However is that an overkill? What would you turn the excess crit into? damage or effective health?
10) Till what breakpoint is ias better than crit chance? Or will crit chance always be better? elaborate
11) Which slots do you suggest to get All Res from?
12) Which slots do you suggest to get vitality from?
13) Which slots do you suggest to get crit chance from?
14) Which slots do you suggest to get IAS from?
15) you said on your budget build you pick up the best item in the first page that matched 4 search criteria for each slot. Can you list those 4 criteria for every slot?
cheers
so many ill try to answer most
1) for 60k-80k you want some loh preferably 700-800+.. for 100k+ you can start going pure lifesteal if 9-12% dropping down to 6% only closer you get to 200k
2)depends on if using echoing fury and where, you never want lifesteal on a mainhand really if you have to sacrifice dps for it, if lower dps you should use a 700-800 life on hit offhand i think..
4)One of the armor passives, or superstition, or possibly animosity if you do lower mps and have fury regen issues
5) nados by far, providing you are playing right and having 2-3 nados hitting all the time, and you have good IAS
6)sprint by far, you can get 2-3 nados hitting with just one sprint
7) for low mp .. not much.. like 500 res unbuff, with 30-35k hp and like 6500-7000 armor and ur more then OK, for mp10, i do fine with like 700-800k EHP on dprogress.
8)you dont need any certain dps for any MP.. i could do mp10 with a 50k dps barb it would just take forever.. u want to do the lowest mp you can do while keeping up wotb mostly 100%
9) as long as you have the ideal IAS breakpoints then the more crit the better but dont sacrifice much for perfect crit items (around 75% crit full buffed is what im at.. its more then enough) having +xx-xx dmg ring/amulet are a huge bonus to damage
10) if using rare weapons, u want at least 2.0/2.5 breakpoints, if using echoing fury you want at least 2.5/2.5 both sides id say
11) kinda depends, boots armor IK set bonus and shoulders are pretty mandatory, ideally helm as well.. this leaves you with ~340res, I like to get it on gloves so that leaves u at ~400, lower budget barbs should get it on pants as well, this leaves you pretty close to where you want to be for a warcry (impunity) barb, possibly getting single fire/physical resists on one or two items
12)hard to answer again you get it where you can, armor is a big vita slot, so are rare pants, you want some on shoulders possibly life% as well, belt, boots, mempo/ice climbers add some nice life, just make sure you have 30-35k hp for low mp and 40-45k+ for higher MPs
13) Anywhere you can get it should have it, helm (only slot you can cut it out of if on a budget, a non crit mempo probably beats out other helms), ammy, rings, gloves, bracers (can also skip cc bracers for lacunis on a budget)
14) lacuni, helm (on low budget using IK helm can skip it here obviously), rings are great for ias, same with gloves, on a budget you want to avoid IAS on amulet since you should focus on CHD/CC on amulet, possibly +xx-xx dmg roll as well, for higher budget barbs innas pants are nice, i personally dont like witching hour and prefer IK belt unless the WH is amazing
15) for the rares - on gloves u want CC/IAS/STR/RES, then CHD/VITA are bonus, rings u want +xx-xx dmg, str, IAS, CC, CHD is a bonus, amulets u want cc/CHD for sure, and str, +xx-xx dmg is a bonus and should only have IAS on a high high budget
shoulders - 200+str, 60-70+resists, some vita is nice, life% is a bonus
pants - if rare should have 60-70res, 2 sockets, 140+vita, then however much str u can afford, also find rare pants a good place to get bonus armor from
