you should also do the tests again with the other off hand.

According to your test, WW does about 30% of the overall damage. But how much damage are you actually losing going from 1k dps off hand to 700 dps off hand? About 10% less overall damage output? Or even less I would assume.

The conclusion should be to lean towards the lower damage off hand IF it gives much better stats. Of course a 200 dmg vs 1k dps off hand would be considered a large difference.

If I had to choose between a 500 dps dagger off hand vs a 1k dps mace off hand, I may still choose the 500 dps dagger. (Need some actually runs to test how long each would take)

Ty for the valuable input. How much dps one will lose goin from offhand B to A depends on the current specs of the barb. For instance, if one were to improve an ias breakpoint when using dagger, ofc offhand a is still better despite the lower dps. The extra stats n cd are important too.

Would definitely like to do a test on offhand b, but I don't have it. If someone doesn't mind sponsoring some controversial offhand I will be more than willing to test out.

Offhand like B would be a great testing specimen. Currently need a high damage echoing fury to perform test too. Sponsors would be greatly welcome!

Armor is an integer, so it seems like a huge lot, but what counts is the final % dr achieved from it. The change is usually negligible. Whereas an extra 3% leech at 2xx + dps is invaluable. imo

1.5*1.11/1.4 = 19%more offweapon speed
= +/- 9.5%more ticks on nado (depending on bvreakpoints)


its not as simple as that because only breakpoints count

1.66 x 1.67 = 2.772 aps = 6.67 tps
1.3 x 1.67 = 2.171 aps = 8.57 tps

He is still where he was with no ias dagger + axe

So you are wrong and your info is false, higher dps offhand echo vs ias dagger with lower dps will make a huge difference, definitely not the same result!

And also *JUST* in case you didnt notice what i posted before

if he gets the echo he wanted both his dps and average tickrate will go up over dagger + axe

also the dps portion of the offhand counts because of the raw damage contribution. not the actual dps with attack speed included, unless as i stated you are compromising your tickrate.

your point is moot

WTF is that 52 ias, its 15+25 = 40, you forgot dual wield basics now, noob :bonk:

27 ias + 25 wotb + 15 dual wield = 67 ias

1.3 x 1.67 = 2.17 aps = 6.67 tps
1.5 x 1.67 = 2.51 aps = 8.57 tps
1.66 x 1.67 = 2.772 aps = 8.57 tps --> According to you ias dagger will reach new breakpoint, it wont

Now axe and echo

1.55 x 1.67 = 2.58 aps = 8.57 tps
1.45 x 1.67 = 2.42 aps = 7.5 tps

Average tickrate AND offhand raw dmg both went up, echo >>>>> ias dagger with low dps, not to mention echo increases mainhand dps for use with hota / bash / frenzy etc
