I can currently run mp5 reasonalbly efficiently, but still die a few times per run. I've been swapping out ss for other passives, but can't decide which one. I'm not sure if I want to invest in a 1.03 nats as I don't have the $$ atm. Only about 30m to upgrade now.

You need base crit bro. Sharpshooter is a bad skill unless you are trying to go for speed records or only shooting once every 20-30 seconds.

I'd look into ammy/ring upgrades with higher base crit and crit damage. Damage range helps a lot just search for average damage on the AH. To drop sharpshooter you should try to hit 48% base crit or higher if possible but can still do it over 40% pretty well.

Your resistances are fine, try getting Life% or vit on pieces lacking it such as your chest. You would be REALLY impressed with an Inna's Chest/Belt combo if you can get them both with good stats and all res, prices on set items are dropping constantly and the set bonus is another 130 dex.

If you didn't get Legacy when it was reasonable, don't bother now. It's going to cost you a fortune to get the GG pieces and thats assuming those hoarding them even sell. You get more DPS/EHP out of the new set if you manage your gloom/vault usage (blizzard helped new nats out with the 5 second duration).

Your pants. You can buy Depth Diggers with 180+ dex 180+ vit, 70+ allres for under 30m. You can also get them with sockets but assume +58 is max per socket and price them accordingly. You might also be able to find a pretty nice rare pant with similar stats. Ideally you would get a small dps gain with a HUGE life gain that would help you since your EHP is pretty low. Less time kiting = more time shooting = DPS.

Its the max stats assuming a radiant star is placed in there.. so 150 dex 150 vit pants with 2 open sockets = 208 dex 208 vit pants with no sockets. Sometimes people overpay for sockets when the better item is the pure stat based ones.

I don't see why everyone suggests dropping smoke screen though.

I only suggest it when you don't have the max discipline to support it. TBH vault breaks most CC now and Gloom is a LOT more efficient than smoke screen for most builds. Legacy nat's is of course the obvious exception (if you have the resistances/armor to live through reflect without it).
