Recently rolled barb with items I found in game save for the mainhand. Obviously changing certain pieces will throw this guy out of whack so im wondering what should I should be replacing in what order.

I have a 240-250m budget to roll a new character(literally no gear). I figured I could get a 5 piece IK set (some pieces on the lower end), decent vile ward, lacuni prowlers, ok rings & ammy and a pretty nice skorn in that budget.

Would you recommend going the IK route with that budget? Or looking for cheaper rares that might achieve a similar effect, but would probably become less useful later on? Thoughts? Suggestions?

I have a fresh level 60 barb with a budget of 140 Million and I am very interested in Skorn 2 Handed Barb. I was wondering around what +IAS I need to shoot for in order to be a decent starter DPS. Also what other gear would you recommend for my budget?

You dont have any specific piece that is urgently required to be upgraded tbh. However, if you have the gold, would recommend getting some lacunis with str/crit/allres or if thats too pricey for u, swap the str for some vit. You can afford to lose some all res. Alternatively, i would suggest getting a better OH cause your current OH is too slow. I want at least 1.4 APS on ur offhand (i.e. sword) but faster is better. U want lifesteal + OS + str on your offhand. If u can get vit, its a bonus. The most important stat is lifesteal, try to get a 3% one if u can.




If u use nado/ww spec, the OH speed is extremely important cause it adds to how fast ur nados tick which translates to more dmg, more procs for fury/lifesteal/loh. Altenrtiavely, u can get an echoing in u rmain hand to boost the APS in your offhand.



Given your other gear, other pieces might be a priorty over your offhand. However, the spear is not a wise choice as it is way too slow for an offhand and makes ur nado ticks pretty much obsolete when compared to other barbs and makes LOH/lifesteal a lot less effectively. A dagger is very good for the OH but like u said, mite be a bit out of your price range with crit dmg. If anything, you may b able to drop either the str or the crit dmg to get one. however, on top of that, your jewelry is kinda weak for the slots. You can easily upgrade your ammy to something with higher crit% and crit dmg with avg dmg stat for about 30-40m. That will help you out signficnatly. And if possible, try and go for some LOH.



I would highly recommend an IK belt and an IK helm. YOur andariels is way too weak. If ou really wanted, at least get the new andariels.They are so cheap right now but u need to look for the low fire dmg taken ones or ull get wrecked in A3. YOu have IK boots so you NEED at least one other piece (belt/helm) to get the 2 set bonus of 60 all res. Armors are out of your price range right now but when u can afford it, i would def recommend picking one up. IK armors are best in slot right now in terms of adding a shittonne of EHP to your barb.

I would start with your OH. Look for something with a socket to get that crit dmg up. Huge dps boost. and u really need to get some EHP. You only sitting at 34k life which is not nearly enuff. U want to at least ry and get up to 45k without sacrificing ur dps. Based on ur current gear, you should look at getting a 2 piece IK set. Can get a relatively cheap IK helm which adds 12% life and if u can get the str/vit as a bonus. And on that, you can get the IK belt which g ives you lifesteal which is also very helpful.



Would def start with ur bracers. Strongarms are awful for barb. Get a rare bracers with str/high vit/high all res/crit. Next things id focus on are your helm/chest and jewelry. IK set bonus of60 all res is huge so get that helm/chest if possible. Then move to your jewelry to add crit chance and ASI/critdmg whereever possible.





It really varies tbh dependong what tier of ww/nado barb u want to build. But a good start would be probably about 50-60m. To get you a couple Ik pieces and new a mainhand and some MS on your gear.



The IK pieces will definitely do you some good. You can get an IK helm for relatively cheap. Same with some IK boots or IK belt. IK belt will give u some lifesteal which will definitely help out with the reflect dmg. Based on your budget, those are the most realistic upgrades for you right now. There is no need to chase legs/sets but IK pieces give you some nice set bonues for a low price.



For 13m, you cant really upgrade much. i would reomcmend saving up for an IK helm and belt upgrade to get the set bonus and the socket which helps out with lvling or gives u that extra life when u need it.



With that budget, you could go for the IK 5 piece but honestly, if you shop around, you'll be able to achieve much higher dps with just a couple IK pieces and some rares. The helm/chest combo for 2 set bonus is probably the most favorable. But the IK chest is quite pricey so based on u rbudget, may want to look at getting the helm+boots+belt and then looking at some nice rares for your other slots. If u going skorn, you def gotta get the ASI on your jewelry and your gloves which would cost a lot if it were IK. I will actually be starting up a build-a-barb fee-based service in the coming days so be on the lookout for that if your interested. It'll cost you but at the end of the day, it'll be worth it from the time/money you save from me shopping/building for u:P!



U need to inreas eyour EHP. 30k life is not at all good to run mp5 efficiently. Start with your bracers and your shoulders. Your shoulders have no vit right now, look at sacrificing some str and get some vit + armor on those things. Will make a world of difference. Same with your bracers, they have no vit and very low all res. U want to aim at 70+ all res and an adiditonal res stack if possible (i.e. phys or fire are best). Next, your pants need upgrade. Cna be done really cheap for like sub 30m. With about 50+ str and 200+ vit with 60+ all res with 2 sockets and armor bonus if possible. Pants is one of the biggest EHP slots in the game.





If u looking a skorn build, you definitely need to stack a lot of ASI on your jewelry. RIngs + ammys can be bought with crit chance and asi with str and avg dmg. Should fall well within your budget as long as u arent going for like perfect rolls.
