they said life steal has a possibility to be better. they said when survivability ISNT an issue and dmg is really high life steal will be better.

A lot of you appear uneducated as to how monks work, or assume loh is the only way to go.

With this dps and 4 second invuln you can drop probably 2/4 blues and all minions in the 4 seconds, maybe everything to be honest. If you don't, run away for 10 seconds. Minions are no issue because FoT knockback. 5700 armor isnt low, its respectable as it 400 all resists. (400 = 60% vs 1000's 70%)

I have very similar stats -40k dps and I farm act 3 easy.



Though I am interested, how much money have you spent ffs?

Thank you, dodge helps a lot too. I didn't spend a single penny on this guy. I made my money through flipping items back and forth RMAH and AH(efficent if you use B.net balance instead of paypal.)
I recently started transfering funds to paypal and I am up about $1500 and I still have some items to sell off(including my gear of course)

that just doesnt make sense to me, same base life/resists/armor, less dmg, and he stands in closer proximity to elites than dh's do, without life steal or life on hit, i'm sure he can farm a3/a4 but i highly doubt its anywhere near the speed a dh with more dmg/ same other stats could do.

Simply put: Monk's base dps is extremely understated.(each crit%(and dodge) translates into exponential increase in dmg output with the right skill setting.)

nice, i guess it just comes down to what works for your play style. it just seems like blizz nerfs anything that makes a build half way decent.
