Made this barb for inferno butcher runs. Its very fast, die rarely even with low vita. It has around 400@.

ur life must be like 20k lol

I do a fair bit of damage at the expense of block so I only attack yellow mobs when ignore pain is off cooldown.

I still get fucked in act 2 though.

edit* Check out my BADBOY GRAPHICAL PROWESS - have to have everything set to low because my pc is crap.

Pretty much yeah :D. Still no problem soloing a1.

how can u guys beat act 1? i cant handle any single elite pack when they have molten/arcane or any other elemental dmg. I have a pretty nice dmg so that is not my prob. my resist are 300@ and my life (i know that will be the prob) is only 27k
i would be glad if i could run butcher and elites in act 1 to farm for items.

do i need more resists? more armor (5,2k) or how much life? thx for your help

It might be your skillset that is bad too. I got 600 res and i can solo till mid act 3 then it gets too hard for now :p. So I'd aim for 700-800 res, 10k armor, 50-55K hp & don't forget to have some life on hit or lifesteal.

very hard to reach 10k armor/55khp >< currently at 7.5karmor 43khp 700+res and still get stomped by act2 somtimes lol. also have 20% block at 4.7k damage or w/e the best shield. still..

So when I heard I had to sword and board it up just to be viable it made me reroll into casters.... I really loath tanking as I did it for years in WoW although barbs are effective that way.


I have heard of this 2h barb build that can actually do stuff well in Inferno, anyone know what it is and what you itemize????

Afaik, to progress in act2 as 2 hander you're gonna have to have fucking gz gear, act 1 is doable with cheap gear.
