Guys, WTF? Why is NOBODY using Won Khim Lau claws? All of you are so caught up in listed DPS, you are entirely forgetting the best 1.04 item.

I don't know, maybe you guys didn't actually realize that 100% of monks damage is lightning damage. Fists of Thunder, and it's area effect are lightning damage. All the damage from the tornado's from whirlwind are lightning damage. Won Khim Lau claws have up to a 31% boost to lightning damage. And the funny part is, most of your off hand claws suck anyway. So unless your off hand claw is truly godly, there is no point in the world not to use it.


ESPECIALLY you guys having trouble with Act 3 and posting monks with a limited budget. That one single item, that you can probably still get a good one for 2-3 million, will do more for your monk then any other item in the game.

i got my 900 dps one for 1.5mil.....

I just got a 750dps one for like. 500k It's helped a bunch. Now I'm working on getting some crit chance and crit dmg to help with sweeping winds.

Alright guys, I have upwards of 80m to spend. At the moment I have a shield but I will be switching to a dual wield build, so I DEFINITELY need to grab a new helmet (with dex/resist/socket/blablabla) and will also be using mantra of conviction as well.

That being said, which pieces (apart from my shield and helmet) do I need to upgrade and in which order? For my weapons, what should I look for on each one? Should I get a high damage mainhand with a socket and dexterity and then get a nice crit/loh offhand?

hey guys i was wondering what do you think about a mass attack speed monk? like if you had lacuni's bracers, inna's pants, the witching hour belt, andys visage, its an extra 32-36% attack speed... and then the usual rings/ammy/gloves.
i used to be a lightning monk tank but im converting to poison monk DPS, i wanna try out the andys visage and bulk attack speed.

does the % fire damage taken affix on the andariels visage apply to the monk taking more dmg or dealing more to enemies? not sure on that point.
