First of all, wizards can never defeat barbs in pvp, forget about it. Unless you outgear your opponent by a huge margin, you got no chance versus pvp geared barb and pretty much any pvp geared character.

But your char really lacks few things in gear - +armor on boots, belt, chest, pants. You should add at least 1k armor because your all res is not very effective with 3k armor. Better ehp shoulders would be nice too. Skill are wrong as well. You need to stun barb with nova, empty ray of frost, stun him again with wave of force and empty ray on frost on him again. Use mirror images with the rune that gives you explosive mirrors and teleport wormhole. And even then your chances are slim.

I threw this together and wanted to go for really high stunning capacity, but getting 3 aps with a 1.65 weapon makes it impossible to use Storm Crow and boots that aren't low level ones with IAS. That is, if I dont want to use stretch time and is not playing solo with enchantress... Or am I missing something? Here's my profile, any input is welcome!

you need either mempo setup with inna's or if you want to stick to storm crow you got to use legacy zuni boots. But best way is getting ias chantodo's. With it you can ditch glassy inna's pants and still reach 3,003 aps. About your character - cc'less amulet is really bad on a build that relies on cc. You need to change it and get ias/cc amulet. Your paper dps might drop but in reality gaining 8+cc will yield more e-dps and survivability. Also, add more armor, like 900 more.

EDIT: and what kind of shitty shoulders are that? You spend 100 mill on a gem and can't spend 10 mill on decent vile wards?

you can start by getting nat's ring. You should be reaching 2,74 aps. Get ias on gloves (preferably trifecta gloves) and don't use ias wand unless you wanna go 3,003 aps, use socketed one (but be sure you are reaching 2,74 aps after all gear changes). Int/cc blackthornes amulet would be better if you are sticking with that. You are doing plenty of dps, sheet dps doesn't really reflect anything, don't panic.

But building around mempo with that budget was a mistake, yes. But all you need now is too get decent nat's ring, preferably with cc, change gloves to trifecta with some all res/armor (depends on budget), change amulet to same brand but int/cc, change wand to os one, get 2,74 aps, or get 3,003 aps with the wand you have.

the key is to make decent dps upgrade is a socketed chantodo with marquse emerald or ruby.
