I have ventured to HC. I am going to hit level 60 tonight on my wiz.

I need some HC tips. I really would appreciate tips from HC players that are in the trenches. Here are some example questions:

Where are the most dangerous parts to avoid?
CM or archon build?
Are there gears changes to make from SC?
Which skills changes do I need to make to be safer?
What are the guidelines on monster power levels?
Which items sell better/worse on HC?

wizard is probably the most unstable HC char and is pretty pricey, so if its your first char with no gold to buy good gear you will suck major balls.
with that being said...

Where are the most dangerous parts to avoid? Untill you have decent gear, all elites with dangerous combo, eg vortex/arcane/jail or somthing.
CM or archon build? CM wizard is extremely inefficient in mp0-1 also ALOT more expensive than archon. archon is pretty much solo play only since you need the kills ,so its kinda boring but pretty efficient (dno how it will be next patch with the group bonus thing thogh)
Are there gears changes to make from SC? high int, high res, high armor, high repl. atleast 60-70k hp 1:10 ration on res:armor for better EHP.
Which skills changes do I need to make to be safer? unstable anomaly is a must despite wich build you choose.
What are the guidelines on monster power levels? stick to mp0 untill you have propper gear.
Which items sell better/worse on HC? HC has a better economy than SC so pretty much anything usefull is valuable. even when you find brimstones you wont get dissapointed as they cost 300k (EU) each and you can craft amulets with them.

it was 500 mil but now im down to 160 mil..everything is wrong? that's not good lol i was following a bunch of peoples builds and it seemed like everyone was using something along the lines that i went with

Terrible gear choice for that budget. That shit mempo, really? That shittiest ias chantodo, REALLY? Not hitting 2,74 with ias chantodo's, FOR REAL, DUDE? 42 cc is ugly as hell too.

but madlee is right, some not so clever choices

personally i would buy 1.65 aps 10 apoc sox wand (but u would need higher ias gear to reach 2.74 aps, like lacunis, which would get you to 24 ms at the same time), source needs higher avg dmg like 200 9 ias 9 apoc, your amulet should have 8 cc minimum imo, and i would start buying a mempo at 3.5 cc (4 cc if you can, but more expensive), bt pants i would look for 450 loh next time (so 350 loh from ring gets you to the desired 800 loh, unless u have a nice loh amu, again expensive)

the thing is mempo cc, apoc source, zuni set is the expensive road, but you don't seem have the budget for it

Should I wear a shield on HC or a source?
