I got some crappy Andy helm and a nice odyn! This one has much Bete proc so made a socket. That lightning proc is pretty strong! Need more emerald lol

Yeah elite/melee/ranged DR should make hugeeee difference on high torment. Too bad my eye ammy rolled some shit stats lol

Are there other gears that spawn insane amount of DR?

This is probably fairly effective, especially when paired with things like BT and Aughlids. Unfortunately I've yet to get a string, and all 3 of the eye's I've gotten have been completely unusable.

WOW! kim sick odyn!!!! grats. I hear that the odyn's proc does 1200% weapon dmg to single target!. jealous.

Check out this monks lucky weapons! soo jealous! Check his helper too. has better gear then some players lol.

Hey all, looking for some advice.

Recently I found a couple plan. Captain Crimsons, Borns, and Hallowed Protectors to be specific. Even found a Royal Ring of Grandeur. I guess my question now is where to go with my monk now. I've been interested in a speed farming build for lower difficulties, but would also like some insight on how to make him t1 viable. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Make captain's belt and pants, drop your lvl 60 dps nonsense. It'll net you less dps, but you'll hitharder on non-crits, have a shitload more toughness, and the set bonuses for captains are amazing.

This might be met with some scrutiny, but ditch the pants. You can get a really good pant w/ dex+vita+skill+sockets and secondaries in healing globe bonus+eleres. The attack speed and CC will be marginal once you hit around 7-8k dex.

Also the gloves need to be upgraded. You can find some good 2-stat rerollables now that are wildly better than those. Also, don't try to look for vita on these. Dex+IAS+CC+CD are the primaries, with healing globe and ele resist. Magefists are great for fire monks - they give off potentially 20% fire damage on top of these 4 main stats.

Try to strive for healing globe bonus on your items. Why? Transcendence. It's not a fail passive anymore. Healing globe bonus augments it, and its not unheard of to hit 1000 life per spirit. That's huge burst healing during Epiphany.

CDR is also something to strive for. If you can get it, I would look at shoulders. Dex+Vita+CDR+AllRes and secondaries in Ele resist and healing globe bonus

Boots - You can get Dex+Vita+Spd+Skill Dmg with secondaries in ele resist and healing globe. Those are relatively easy finds.

Continue to farm normal caches. Items do drop. Albeit they've nerfed somewhat.

well firstly u just need to play the game, join t1 pubs and u can replace 90% of ur gear with better yellows, try and get crit chance/crit dmg wherever u can on ur gear with enchanting

id also recommend socket in helm with ruby, t1 is 300% exp, any bonus exp u can get (40-80%) is a massive boost at low difficulties and since ur paragon lvl is so low u wanna get it up to at least 200 before not having to worry about it

gems in pants need at least imperial

ur skills are kinda all over the place, ur using combination strike when u only have 1 spirit generator, dashing strike not that useful in party games since the radius of group effect is so small, gotta stick together anyways

for skills id go with something like this

the good thing about monks is that even when ur gear is shit u can be useful in a team so the skills emphasizes that
mantra of healing with chant of resonance becomes ur #1 survival skill with spammable shields

once u get better gear and specialize into an elemental type (ex: fire monk, holy monk, etc.) then u can switch around skills accordingly
ur type of course will depend on the gear u find, if u find cindercoat, ur path is already chosen for u to be a fire monk

I ditched LTK and SSS for EP and SW... Using Essence Burn, SW, Epi, and Harrington proc, I'm seeing wizard like DPS against elites. Neverming large white track packs... EP one of them, he explodes, the rest take damage, 3 explode, and now anything in the radius is taking more damage than LTK over 3 secs. Its having a snowball effect.

CDR might still help the build. Also haven't considered backlash or retribution yet.

Currently spent 600+shards on helms trying to get the lightning helm. But starting to think maybe you cant get it from kadala.

I dont get alot of time to play so what should i farm to get better?

When im group running i drop epiphany for palm becuase it is rediculously nice in higher torment. Pull some normal mobs to blow up on elties and easy chain reaction with a decent team on t3. But atm i kinda suck at t1
