Looking to see if someone could help me. I only have a 24mil budget to gear my monk and my last build was a complete fail in regards to damage.

If someone could just give me some pointers on what to get on my gear/weapons/ 1h weapon + shield or duel wield etc... Also on best skill combo.

This is my monk. Been farming act 3 over a month. It does it pretty well. 50mil was my budget.

I do have a shield and a DPS oriented off hand that boosts my unbuffed dmg to 49k dmg. I just play with different set up for fun. Monk is fun because it's pretty versatile.

Hello fellow monk, how do you guys handle the phasebeast elite trio?
Dual wield, i can get 40k dps unbuffed, but they will chop down my health pretty quick. If I could take one of them down before I die, that is still ok.
Use shield, I survive longer, but my dps is even lower.

When I see an elite pack trio with some decent skill roll (extra health, desecrator, vortex), i know it is gg for me. Act 3 run = end

For those phasebeasts. I usually kite them with DR when the serenity is down. When I have it up, I beat the shit out of them with FoT l. I use quicken ing and transdence so it gives me about six to seven seconds to dmg them. 12% ms should help to kkite A lot.

What's the best rune for sweeping wind if you don't have a high crit chance yet? I just hit 60 with my monk, and I know people use cyclone, but without a high crit chance I don't think it will be good for my monk. Is blade storm good for the time being?
