Yeah. It's a pretty crazy mantra. I think its 24% permanent and 48% increase for the first 3 seconds. So, you will be spamming it every 3 second to fully maximize the dmg increase. And since you have to spam it every 3 second, I would recommend running a transcendance passive which should give you something like 3k hp heal every 3 seconds.

All up to your preference though. There's no right way!

So I guess this is the place to ask for gear advice for my monk. I'm trying to go for a dps build...
I read through many pages of this thread but I'm still not sure what the important stats are that I neet to get through act 3.
I recently did a couple of upgrades and I can make it now until siegebreaker with dying only a few times (still too many).
But there are some elites that just totally destroy me before I can even deal some damage.

Your armor and res are pretty low.

You should use keen eye rune on your deadly reach. And maybe use a quickening rune on FoT and change out the guardian path to trancendance and spam mantra for extra healing.

Kite the hard elites with Deadly reach and don't go toe to toe with them. Thunderclap is good but its pretty useless against molten/other fire shit affixes. Since your surviviability is a major issue, I would switch to a more defensive build like.

Keen Eye/Earth ally/serenity/heal/cyclone/mantra of evasion (hard target)

Finally found a offhand weapon that I really liked!

Just bought it for 2mil off AH.

44k dmg unbuffed now. I'm going to upgrade both emerald to 90% ones tonight, so that should put me around 50k unbuffed with 3% lifeleech + 300 LOH, which should be good enough for my playstyle!

wow thanks for the advice...I almost feel invincible now with 10k armor buffed from Keen eye...worked like a charm for now

which one of my stats is the weak link? do not hate on my resist cuz i see no need in taking 1 or 2 extra hits for farming a3

What about Zunimassa's Journey? + 6% DMG, + AS+ high dex should buff you
