lol, as if 400k unbuffed isn't attainable (my archon runs 430ish).

and who said you have to be "cutting through"?

you read the patch notes on the exp buff + archon timer reset with assist kills? i'd say it'd make the game FUN. most any archon no matter what damage as long as you build it properly (even on a budget) will be able to perma archon in mp10.

I asked how much ias i need cuz i dont know how i would calculate that

Archon had 4 Archon wizards in his game yesterday they were doing mp10 no problem and they werent by any means top archon wizs

@Don - yes you need 2 pieces. Like Mad1Lee said, recommend you use a tal's chest (you dont need 3 zuni pieces....and I know you love them so you could just do tal chest and get the ias on something else).
@Mad1Lee - the multipliers discussed in the wiz forums are for single target (the ~3,5-4 for archon and 6-8 for snswiz). So since archons generally hit more than one target, esp with the mob increase buff with the patch, it'll be pretty fun (likely efficient as well) archon'ing it up in multiplayer with the assist kills! The good news is meteor builds get better to with the mob increase :P But with the through-wall teleportation now, not sure - would really have to test all three of these builds out, likely all 3 are pretty good!

So Tals chest + 1 other piece should i use a crit mempo (Like 3-4 crit is wat i could prb afford) or a temp ammy with ias until i craft one with IAS? my current ammy adds alotta EHP its gunna be hard to try adn replace it lol

I think it would be fun for a while until peope realize that SNS wizards for higher mps are way for effective and way cheaper too.

Well, ok, maybe easier to keep arcon in multiplayer if you got a nice killing team, but imagine doing mp10 solo with that - that's a huge fucking budget!

on Americas i can think of maybe 8 archon wizzies that actually solo mp10. other than that, everyone should already know by now that CM is more viable to run in higher mp and provide more benefit to a group than archon can. that's a gimme.

it's all about fun, not shattering things in mp10. group play > solo imo.

well with all this archon wiz for mp10 group talk...
i use a weapon switch build for mp10 and mp10 ubers:

familiar - sparkflint
magic wep - blood magic
energy armor - prismatic armor
frost nova - deep freeze/bonechill
energy twister - wicked winds
archon - teleport/improved

critical mass
unstable anomly/blur
glass cannon

exact same items as a normal archon wizard would have but when ur archon is down, switch ur helmet to a random or crit storm crow, and switch your off hand to any apoc off hand.
tornado + freeze
in about 2 seconds, your archon should be up and switch back to your mempo + triumvirate, buff magic weapon and fire away for another 15 seconds.
rinse and repeat LOL

this may not seem the greatest way to do it and may be quite harassing, but its currently how i mp10 ubers with my buddies. any suggestions/improvements to the build would be awesome!
this is my hybrid cm/archon build but you're using archon more than you are freezing/nado with this build.
i came across this build when i got fed up with living lightning, that skill sucks so much i couldnt handle it anymore lol

teleport is getting fixed in 1.08, finally. No more bumping into walls, just teleport thru everything. About fucking time, Blizzard.

Still have the door limitation... :( If they were going to fix, they should fix it right!
