I know my gear can use a LOT of upgrades, im halfway done with act 3 but arcane mobs fucking destroy me, my LPS keeps me alive through most things, but not enough for either arcane mobs or fire chains/molten/mortar at the same time haha. Let me know what upgrades i should use, im sure i can drop my LPS by a lot for some DPS. and switch my skills up, since i heard MoH sucks now, and i normally use resolve instead of fleet footed. Would like some input, thanks guys!

Don't want to sound like a jerk, but you are definitely not ready for Act 3. You need shitload of upgrade. How much gold do you have?

I did half of it already haha, but i know its not good, i only spent like 2 or 3 mil on the gears, i have 30-40 mil i believe, im at work right now so im not 100% sure atm but any input would be nice bro!

You have nice budget.

Get a faster weapon (must be +1.4 aps) with some nice dps/dex/loh or lifesteal or llps.

Upgrade all your armors with at least something like 120dex/50vital/40 your res/40 all res. helm and bracer should have these stats PLUS crit chance.

Get crit chance/dex/your res/some more nice stuff on your rings and ammy.

If you are really going to use a shield, get a decent one. The one that you have is terrible. Get a shield with at least 24% block rate with dex/crit chance/your res/vital or life %.

If you shop around, you can probably get everything below 30mil for sure. Just don't overspend on one thing. Maybe 10mil max for your weapon.

Don't use fleet footed, use something like transcendance/resolve. These are godly passives. Use mantra of evasion with hard target rune for more armor.

Just noticed you have almost 3k life regen. That's effing nice dude. lol try to upgrade your stats without losing too much on that. You should be golden. That life regen is probably the only thing that's carrying you through the act 3 quest!

Im definitely willing to dual wield if it means more efficient farming! ill keep a look out, i understand 1500+ is enough? its kinda hard to keep 3k and get all kinds of stuff without going overboard on spending unless im wrong? haha and thanks for the input! much appreciated, and yeah XD all i have to do is run away for 5 secs and whoop! back to full hp XD it doesnt work against everything though ill let you know how the shopping goes when i get home from work tonight! haha thanks again!

Yeah man. You are totally right. It's kinda hard to get that life regen stat with other proper stats. But yes, 1500 life regen should be very very nice for a monk considering other stats are in line as well. I have 1500 regen on my wiz and i thought that was freaking cool. lol

can someone tell me benchmarks i need to farm act 3 easily/quickly as far as these stats:

damage
life on hit
resists
armor

i am playing a dual wield monk and want to go with an all out life on hit build using attack speed to attack as fast as possible to regain as much life as possible. idk if people do this but i like it and its fun. Im aiming to go with ~+25% crit chance but no crit damage. Also is there a certain amount of ias i should aim for or a certain attacks per second point that would be most beneficial? or let me know if this idea is stupid for a monk build

Not really sure how you're going to do w/out any crit damage, though. Crit chance and Crit damage work very well together, especially with Sweeping Wind/Cyclone. I'd recommend at least 1.7 attacks per second, as well with the 1k LoH.
