The EF +aps scales better with slow weapons.

If you have a slow weapon,  it's great idea to pair it with EF of just sell that and get faster one with wkl.

Coincidentally, I picked up a WKL with LS and a socket only 807 dps but 24% lightning damage. 22m, less of a bargain?

monk is really fun to play, just the only thing i found annoying is that sweeping wind constantly wears off if i don't find monsters for several seconds, and with my low spirit regen and thunderclap i need to make many hits to being able to recast it again.

I completely understand this, what i meant is that your weapon got more DPS which means it's more expensive. For example i can get 1035 DPS spear (1.2 APS) for your weapon's price and then we can compare, or else it's not really fair comparison from what i understand.
