Im not even going to bother reading 11 pages of discussion, nothing would change my mind; ever about what i have to say on this topic.

For ONE reason.

D3 was already announced from the very beginning as being designed with a stand alone single player platform with Bnet multi player option, and that the Bnet servers where the game was hosted would remain free public access. If they renig on this claim, then Im personally done.

Bottom line, decision was already made... they better stick to it.

If D3 will be p2p i will probably quit WoW for D3 since i always prefered Diablo theme over Warcraft one, about the monthly fee, i have no problem since i waste way more money in one day when i go out with friends.

So you'll only play Diablo if you have to pay $15 a month for it?
That makes no sense.

The game is Diablo 3, not "Diablo 3" and "Diablo 3 Online". D3 will have SP and MP functions, and SP players have every right (being paying customers) to not be left behind. You seem to want more content and more content and more content... and so do SP gamers. Therefore, you either go with the easy to understand Expansion business model for your entire D3 customer base, or some sort of bastardized hybrid (expansions / DLC for SP, and subscriptions for online). This fractures your customers into different communities for the same product (complicating support)... and fails to understand that SP gamers sometimes like to play MP too, forcing them to pay twice for the same game content if they want to play online.

I was just saying,

IF Diablo 3 will be p2p THEN
I would quit WoW BECAUSE
I prefer Diablo theme over Warcraft AND
I don't want to spend money on two games p2p
ELSE
IF Diablo 3 won't be p2p, would be better.

I never said that i would play D3 if i had to pay for it monthly, i only said and i quote again: " i have no problem ", which is diferent for i only play d3 if i have to pay for it.

no need another WoW-like game

too adictive, i quitted it cause it was fucking my education up (highschool) now im in college and i only play Dota once in a while cause IT IS LESS ADICTIVE

this and u think d2 is a shithole? i think its a miracle that a game liked d2 is still played by thousands of people considering WoW and other games that are free MMORG's exist. you can never truly get rid of bots anyways.

The only reason people still play d2 is cause someone who lives in there moms basement can get 100,000fg and then get a character decked out instantly. What are the other options ? WOW?
