I run transcendence and spam mantra. I honestly don't feel like I need LOH to stay alive. And I never did rely on LOH before.
And if you kite the right way, you really won't have to get hit much. This is the reason why I don't like backlash, I don't usually get hit a lot to trigger that dmg circle.
Just did a full act 3 farm run this morning just like I always do it everyday. It's SO MUCH EASIER with this new set up. I crit +100k dmg a lot now with mantra. The mobs die so fast.
But I do believe having a life steal on my offhand will be extremely beneficial, so my next item will have to be something like +800dps/dex/vital/3%LL/socket. That will really compliment the high dmg output.
And these two items are always in my inventory.
If I face one of those nasty fire/arcane elites, I use the shield. My dmg is above 40k even with the shield.
When I get bored a little, I use that offhand and just stay in the fight.
I feel like items with LOH are just way too overpriced at the moment. It's a good stat to have but not a MUST, if you are on a budget like me.
