If you're talking about PvE, it's all a matter of opinion i guess.. But i'd say even 50k is pretty excessive.. I feel like i hover around 30-40k with my high mp build.. and 28k with my quick mp1 runs

As for the weapon.. Manajuma can only get up to like 1050 dps I think, and while it has great stats it cannot be as good as a good 6 property rare weapon

I don't know if there are rare weapons out there that would surpass Manajuma's at the moment (for the witch doctor at least)
Also, a rare weapon can be black dmg.. meaning that all "+8% ___ dmg" will count towards your dps more than if you had a poison weapon and an amulet that gave you +8% lightning dmg.. you'd get the dmg bonus, but not as much as if it were +8% poison dmg.. if that makes sense =D

It also depends on your build.. I know that some WD prefer to get a really good spear for the lower attack speed which can help with mana management.. But the high end WD usually will go with Manajuma with socket / Echoing Fury / or a very good rare weapon with similar stats to Manajuma, but a higher DPS

There are many rares that surpass manajumas they just aren't being sold atm.

But most are around 800m+

When i was looking for something a while back, I came across a guy with a 1122 dps 1.4 sword with 8x crit/int/soc/ll but he was asking 2.2 or something outrageous.

Exactly.. They exist, just they are very.. VERY expensive!! I saw a dagger on a Wizard with 1100 dps with 9% atk speed / ~80 crit / socket / 2.9 Life steal... That alone i'm sure is worth 5b+

I'd say weapon and amulet now are you main concerns...

Weapon you're just looking for a socket basically! That extra 100% crit dmg will go a long way! Manajuma is probably the way to go in my opinion

As for the amulet.. I'm not really sure! Tal rasha is a pretty good option, but it's really expensive... If you do go with Tal, look for +%poison dmg
Otherwise a good trifecta rare is always another awesome option! You really just have to compare them in game, and see which will benefit you the most!

Thats the problem now... im nearly broke =] I was looking for a tal amulet with cc but prices just killed me as i dont have much valuable things for trade left.
You wouldnt imagine how lucky i was with that mempo, some1 probably made a mistake and didnt put enough 0's in price

Yeah, manajuma is looking good for me, but im not going to purchase a weapon till im 100 % sure how this black vs elemental dmg on weapon works and whats most important... if some damage remain hidden as i cant check edps without purchasing

Okey guys, i did some testing with echoing fury and manajuma's dagger. ( i didnt do tests for other elemental dmg weapons, buti predict it would be the same.

So...
Poison dmg from zunni boots does more with echoing fury than with manajuma's.(this %psn dmg is a LOT in fact!)
average damage on rings(+x dmg or min/max dmg) does more with fury than with manajuma's.
tal rasha amulet with its +5/6% elemental dmg is superb to any other amulet while using echoing fury.(psn/holy>fire>rest if i remember well)

Ive been doing lots of comprehensions between diferent weapons and in my opinion echoing fury is the best possible choice for WD.


Also what i checked is how much dmg is added from crit% gem. 100% crit chance on gem is equal to 17k dps. Calculation is specific to my champion, i just thought that some of you may wonder how much it is for real.

I just made a WD and bought some cheap items (total of 30m spent, including gems) for him. As I rushed him to lvl 60 in 4 hours, I have no idea about the class

I just read some threads and tried a few builds (I played for a total of half an hour on mp1:)) The recent setup I have went smooth but maybe it can be smoother, can you give me some advice on my build please? Thanks.
