Took out Azmodan using my previously mentioned stats @
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=62550987&f=142&p=427920906. Took 2 attempts as I "relearned" the strategies I had in Hell when doing it 1st time there. Yes, the resists are less than desirable. The elites were not death zerged, and that was the only death I experienced through the entire run which started at siegebreaker. The other death was a really annoying phasebeast group that was horde invul minions. They weren't skipped - I had the yellow down to 1/4 when I kicked the bucket, so I came back in and finished him off.
I will say that life on hit, 1v1, would have been great to have. However, life steal > 5% with that level of crit dmg and chance was far superior against elite packs and large groups. There were several occasions where the act had poor map rolls where 2 elite packs were together. Luckily most of them didn't have bad combos (molten, arcane, desecrator). If they did, I just had to move them out of the death radius and keep swinging.
Lots of tactics on this thread, so thanks to all. Onward I press!
Edit: those stats are with conviction. Stats with MoE, Guardian's Path, Sixth Sense = > 51% dodge without mantra. With Mantra, FoT + Lightning, I have around 74% dodge.
