Well it'd depend on the wep ur replacing it with...

Ur current wep is 523 - 1099 damage at 1.2 per second...
811 average wep damage

With a new wep... Using mine as an example

It would be at 459 - 1020 damage at 1.4 per second...
739.5 average wep damage

So 1 of your tornado's is more.

BUT

With your current speed ( 1.94 aps ) and current crit ( 52.5% )

Over a period of let's say 20 seconds you would hypothetically crit 20 times vs 1 monster ( 38.8 attacks, 52.5% crit chance)

With the 0.2 attack speed boost multiplied by it current % speed it would add 0.27 attacks per second, correct?

So 1.94 + 0.27 = 2.21 attacks per second

Over a period of 20 seconds you now attack 44 times

Multiplied by 52.5% crit chance = 23 crits vs 1 monster



Sooooo, 811 average x 20 = 16,220
Aaaand, 739.5 average x 23 = 17,008

+1.4aps rare weapon + wkl

Or +1.2aps rare weapon + ef

These are the best combo.

If no ef, always +1.4aps.

why do you compare weapons with different DPS in the first place?

Mine:
(523+1100)/2*1.2 = 973 DPS

Your:
(459+1020)/2*1.4 = 1035 DPS

for the sake of comparison you should lower your avg damage so it will be equal to mine DPS, or else it does not prove anything

This had been tested for couple months using all kinds of different weapon set up comparing the kill time on bosses.

And slow aps is worst enemy for monks to begin with regardless of the edps difference.

Also for builds using nirvana mech, you need as high aps as possible to dump the infinite spirit.

Damage of sweeping wind nado is based on wepon DAMAGE, not weapon damage per second

yeah... for some reason when i read your guides are noticed you often mention slow weapons, but apparently they are only used with EF. And i made a mistake by getting slow weapon haha



I completely understand this, what i meant is that your weapon got more DPS which means it's more expensive. For example i can get 1035 DPS spear (1.2 APS) for your weapon's price and then we can compare, or else it's not really fair comparison from what i understand.

The EF +aps scales better with slow weapons.

If you have a slow weapon, it's great idea to pair it with EF of just sell that and get faster one with wkl.
