How can people crying on this thread still not understand that gold = RL money in this game? If you've EVER spent ANY gold on the AH upgrading your character, then, grats, you've spent RL money. You're a fucking loser, credit card hero, etc, etc.

Unless you've taken every single gold piece you've ever picked up off the ground and/or made from selling items you've found on the AH and then turned around and sold it on the RMAH for $$ and banked that, and never ever spent any gold on the AH for upgrades, shut the fuck up.

But my point still stands. I bought a ring this morning for 58m. At current trading prices, that works out to 58m x .37 = $21.46 - 15% = $18.25. $18.25 that could've been in my pocket, but is now some pixels.
