Not sure if Visaria was taking a shot at me, but from what I've understood, half of my advice was right, other half he elected to ignore :).

@Elijah all in all, I go a bit different road with meteor spec, maybe that's why I am so keen on stacking ehp. I've been thinking that 1200 LoH would be optimal for 2,74 aps, now where do I get it that's the question.

@Hadulsilver To arcon mp5 efficiently you need 300k buffed dps imo, and it's not worth it. My wizard friend with ~180k unbuffed dps tested that and came to the conclusion that speed that you get at mp1 with ruby, hellfires on you and merc are unbeatable. But I really didn't test arcon spec on mps because I find it insanely boring, maybe nowadays farming arreat crater 2 only scorpions is the best way. To sum up, don't waste 1 billion on mp5 arcon wiz.



First and foremost, find a way to reach 2,74 aps breakpoint. Than add more armor and maybe better apoc source if you can afford it.

I used tal armor instead of zuni before but bought a zuni instead. Maybe spend a few 100m on a new tal armor?

I reached 2,74 with that but felt too weak. But other gear might have changed since. I'll give it a try.

maybe it's my perception, but it seems to me you're very confident if your knowledge of gear and the spec, that anytime you provide a suggestion it's as if the set does not work as is if not isn't already better.

maybe i'm just paying too much attention, but your advice was not ignored, as i did mention i ran the test, did i not? i simply chose to gear my wizard a bit differently from what you had suggested.

I have a archon wiz farming mp6 atm trying to make him mp9 farmable
The only issue I have is reflected damage . I have a 3% LS weapon and use Blood Rune for 1.5 , so 4.5 Total.
My question is how effective is LOH on a Archon wiz ?
Would 650+ help me vs reflects ?

with your damage mp5 seems feasible with arcon spec. Try Arreat Crater 2 or keeps 2 mp10 runs trash only. I would suggest you upgrade chest for 250 vita + armor version and maybe add armor to the boots too. Depends what dificulty you wanna do with your arcon.




post your profile. It's not 4,5 total life leech, inferno nerfs weapons life steal to 20%, not sure about Blood Magic though. To make arcon wiz mp9 farmable you need a lot of billions and it wouldn't be as nearly effective as sns wiz for that money. EDIT: LoH is not effective on arcon.

do you really need more vita? Try to get all res/armor version instead. You can also get 6 cc lacunis with int/vita/all res if you have a big budget or int/vita/armor if you have a lesser budget. And new Hellfire or smth instead of it won't hurt.
