God damn I wish we could search on the AH for more than 3 props...

^ dear god yes. 3 prop search is so broad, i gotta look at way too many individual items per search taking me over an hour just to find a single item i want.
Even adding 1 more prop to the search would probly cut that time in half!

I finally found a key to play dual wield.... swapping out the FoT with DR/Keen Eye!

Now I can play much smoothly without my shield. I hated DR before due to the slower attack speed, but with dual wield set up, it's very nice.

Don't know what to do with my shield though. It's a pretty godly fire monk shield. lol

need help to upgrade my monk. finished a1 (inferno obv...) but a2 is just too much for me.
been doing warden/butcher runs for a while (getting 5 nv before killing 'em). only died to arcane elites.

Most people think one or the other is best.

I'll re-emphasize what i like best... both at any given time.
I use both FoT/Thunderclap AND DR/Keen Eye on the same build.
I use DW *AND* shield, i swap when the situation needs more defense.

Combo'ing FoT and DR is insanely effective and under-used.
This type of mid-fight item and skill combo'ing allows a player to be really damn adaptive to any situation.
also, being that pro-active in fights is very fun/challenging.

also, banana.

I used to run dual primary set up. But the reach of DR is just too addicting at the moment. Kiting is so much easier with DR due to the farther reach. I'll probably experiment with the skills again though. That's where the fun kicks in.

If I run the dual set up, I probably have to drop the blinding flash. I'm addicted to blnding flash right now! haha

looks like your main issues are Life & Armor. you need more. Aim for at least 30k life, and 1000 more armor. unbuffed ofc
your resists and loh are fine, just need more cushion to take hits with armor/life.

i would also start to get crit chance on gear. Currently your Sweeping Winds is not doing much compared to even a low 10-20% crit chance build. let alone 5% chance... argh.

Did a wep upgrade,later acts are alot ez'er now .lol broke as you can see....
