How skorn bad damage?
I have a souped one and do tons more damage.

high end 1 hander + high end mojo outperforms skorn.

andddddddd you get so much more better stats from those two than a skorn!

for bears WD this is only true if it's a black rare knife with 12+ mana regen or black 1.2 aps 1h and the offhand is a serpent with mana regen and charger reduction.

manajuma + thing of the deep/serpent without mana regen is shitty compared to a good skorn because of mana efficiency.

at the tip top end, 1h/oh beats a skorn by about 5% eDPS, but most people are idiots who don't know how to build a WD so they pick a manajuma.

that said, trading 5% eDPS for 6% LS is worth considering. Reflect becomes a dead affix like avenger or fast instead of something to be feared.

i just don't like lollipop.. that's all. haha

Your friend needs a single target spell - both AC and firebomb are big AOE but not great for burning down packs.

Ideally he wants a spear/mace or a ceremonial knife with high mana regen. In any case, it should be black and have some combo of socket/LS/CD. If he's lazy tell him to get a manajuma knife.
