try deadly reach/keen eye- res mantra ,and shoot move bak 3 steeps repeat , seems foe me staying closer he doent throw the gas as far , hope it helps

heres the gear of a streamer im following, the MH is not exactly a slow weapon but its got super high base which i believe is the point, but hes got two weapons no where near the same dps?

Over 2k dex for starters. I see what he did there with the dex to compensate, but if he just had two really high dmg weaps he'd do more damage. Is weap choices there were a matter of not being able to get a 2nd weap that had the stats he wanted AND have high dmg.

actually believe it or not if he equipped two of the exact same axe, he does less DPS.

edit: in fact he was stressing the point that having two different weapons can increase ur dps greatly. :s

I don't believe it, because I've tested this.

he used a spreadsheet to show us, i dont know if that will make a difference but surely enough the figures were lower i guess you could use one and punch in the stats if you'd like

edit: stats make quite a big difference, that 300dex on his offhand multiplies the dmg on his mainhand. and the crit stats too of course. perhaps it scales differently at that sort of weapon tiers, something you might have not tested?

so you are agreeing that you dont need two weapons of the same dps? and that stats matter. because it is impossible to get a 1.2k dps 1hander with 300dex 96crit base and socket, there are caps to what your bank roll is and a cap to what the items can roll.

with my current gear if i equip two of those exact same axes, i lose 5k dps in comparison with the combination of the axe and fist. food for thought? O_o

this is true.
Tried on my brothers barb and it worked but on my monk it really messes with the dps.
