No hard feelings, was just pointing out the obvious to avoid any confusions for others that such stats isn't sufficient to be comfortable in a2, or as you put it, "Can go a2 in my sleep with those stats" :P.

I'd recommend to anyone going to farm a3 to try and reach certain "breakpoints" (well let's call them that..) such as ~750-800@, 5k+ unbuffed armor (6k+ if shielding), in the 30-32k hp's, a 40+% base dodge is always prefered (without sixth sense, will explain later) and to hit a DPS in the 40k - 45k+ (for dual wielders) and at the very least 1200 LoH (I take LoH above Life leech anyday with a base dmg of 40-45k). As Passives go with OWE, sieze the iniative and Resolve (these 3 passives will save you a lot in a3 from instant-deaths..). Having this will get you farmin fairly safe in a3! Ghom will always be a bitch pretty much no matter what, but just do small kiting to avoid filling up the room with gas..

Well, I found at that my LoH really is not enough...

I'll change items a bit and aiming for the following right now:

38k life
38k dps
850 ar
6k armor
33,5 crit change
310 crit dmg
1700 loh

Long-term-goal: 2k loh

id aim for keeping loh the same and add in some Life steal.

like with fot/tc you get 75% loh

so thats 1275 per hit, on the third strike you get 3 hits (the actually attack, TC aoe, and FOT aoe) so thats 3875 life back. and this is the most you will ever get back from 1 hit and 1700 loh, though since ticks are half second depending on your atatck speed you might get more then this in a tick but not in a single attack.

so then we increase this to 2000 *75% = 1500 *3 =4500 life in a single attack.

now lets change this to 3% life steal and lets say your using crippling wave so the aoe dmg is the same for all monsters.

now lets say you hit 1 monster for 38k = 228 now lets say your hitting a pack of 3 blue champs at the same time for 38k =114 dmg = 684 life

4500-3875 = 625

sooo at the point you are right now, if you got 3% life leech any time you hit more then 3 monsters youd gain more life then 300 more loh.

I am wondering.. do I really have a better monk now?

basically lower life, a bit high dps, more res, more life reg and a lil less loh.
I still need a cold res, all res, critical chance/dmg ring for this step of change

and for the next upgrade, it will be mainly a better weapon.

with a 900+ weapon with 150dex, 60+ % crit damage and socket you will be god. omg. last day you died? lol very nice gear, also upgrade one of rings by skull grasp (a bit less resis, but more damge)

76k life /1k ar/ 900loh is overkill unless u tanking 4ppl games

if u playing solo dont ever give up crit chance, so u basicly gave up ~ 8% crit for bit dps and 90ar.

keep this set for tanking 4ppl games,

but if u planning to do solo speed/mf runs

then start working on dex/crit damage and try to get some additional attack speed

around 40k dps with shield is more then enough for speed runs, try to get 200+dex, with 852 loh u can sac some ar aswell, 800ar is more then enough

so goals:

70 more crit dam
200-250 more dex

for solo runs (50k hp is more then enough with your defensive stats)

A lot more damage is needed for fast runs. I'm hitting around the same stats, obv not that much hitpoints, but 58k damage with shield and even that is nothing close to my dual wield setup, what comes to the speed of runs. Otherwise stats looks pretty good, but 35k hp is enough if soloing
