very decent wizard. But I see some drawbacks in gear that kinda make future upgrades difficult. Here is a wizard I helped gearing:

Very similar stats to yours, but his gear got way more potential. I think bt cross is ok, but it lacks main stat or any defensive stat and it's way overpriced. Also, sticking to that zuni combo isn't optimal, imo. My suggestions: spend ~100 millions on crafting shoulders, use 280 vita+ with 350 added armor+ blackthornes, go for a decent trifecta rare amulet with defensive stat, get all res on witching hour, drop zuni armor for tal armor with 260 vita+ and 350 added armor+. But it really depends on your budget and what do you want to do with your wiz. Right now it's very decent, but you find hard times using meteor build for instance.

Problem with many high end wizards is that they stack a lot of res and don't balance in armor. I mean 850 all res and 3k armor works much worse than 4,5k armor and 650 all res. Besides, we got innate all res with high int and +armor pieces are cheaper.

really? there is loh on the pants and unity, total of 800 something. also, total ehp is at 430k, so resists are a bit low, but still i can take a lot of damage. just for farming i didn't really feel the need for 2.74, tried and tested both extensively, but it is definetly one of the things i am indecisive about. so would you say drop vit for all resist?

Very nice wiz, Visaria. I like that nat/zuni double combo, hehe. Unfortunately you're at the point where everything is a side-grade.

EHP-wise:
Vile Ward: Can consider a (~250int, ~200str, ~100vit, ar&armor ward) instead of the massive vit one you have now.
Zuni Chest: Could get +Armor roll instead of life % (you're at 56 hp, that's pretty high). Better hp:ehp ratio May just come down to personal preference I think.
Witching Hour: Could get +AR roll instead of vit or life%. Same as above.

DPS:
All of these are hard to find b/c your existing items are gg
Gloves->More crit dmg?
Nat reflection->More crit dmg?
Force->Higher avg dmg? Can also consider 10apoc build (can buy an el-cheapo one to test if it works for you) and pick up a cheap(er) double-int/vit force, or even cheap(er) double-int/str or dex force, i.e. ~300avg dmg, ~300int, ~100vit or str or dex. Not advised to use this for ubers but for regular farming, vota/act3, several ppl have reported good results, myself included.
Can also consider swapping out bt amulet for a non-bt amulet but that'll probably require some gear-swapping elsewhere unless you find a trifecta loh godly one. Or get higher aps on the pox and some minor aps on the amulet, should still be above breakpoint for you. These are all pretty expensive options, so YMYD!

i agree i may have gone too far in certain areas and set myself up for 1b+ upgrades to really juice things up. i'm following zaksa#1312 and wish to mimic his current setup for my end-game, but i'm far far far from that. his tal ammy alone is 6b. i've accomplished my goal which was to be a mp10 uber support wizard, which i do on a regular basis now no problems even in SNS config.

my next upgrade will in fact be a higher avg dmg, higher cc, higher apoc chant force. i was looking at one around the time i bought my bracers and zuni ring but i weighed out the IGG:dmg/hp increases and the ring/bracers beat out the source. it'll take me a while but i know what i'm looking for and as soon as it pops up again on the AH i'll be one to jump on it indefinitely. you are right running a different ammy will require many changes and i just dont have the resources to do so just yet. 1k LoH and the amount of eHP i have now are perfect sustain for me.

at this point i'm waiting on a big find to increase the IGG stash but for now i'm happy where i'm at. 1.0.7 requires more skill than anything now and i'm working on perfecting just that. those damn electrified nightmare/knockback guys are just about the only ones that can down me, only due to their procs being retarded.

i guess for now it's paragon leveling to a minimum 70 (i'm at 47 or 48 now) and helping others out with their build

@jas022: Since you want an archon wiz, just get a high crit dmg, lifesteal, socket BLACK DAMAGE weapon. (MW-BM is sufficient at really high dps but given your budget, you should just get a lifesteal weap).
Then sell your OH and get a high avg dmg, 6/6/6 (ideally) Triumvirate with whatever other attributes you would like (recommend high int). These two upgrades may be sufficient to bring you to desired dps - if not, look to increase chd in your other slots.

SOLO MP10 as Archon wiz? Yikes. You may have somewhat underestimated the difficulty of 'doing mp10 as archon' (at least somewhat enjoyably), just saying. Are you looking to spend potentially double-digit billions? If so, let me know and I have some serious suggestions If not, it's probably kinda difficult...

well cm wiz gets boring an hurts my fingures so i like archon wiz more i know its more expensive, id say my budget is probably only a few hundrew mil so mayb not mp10 but i want to get up to 350k dps if that helps

Just an fyi -- I had a 450k buffed archon wiz and could farm mp5 easily, mp6 ehh. Rumors have it you need 650k with life steal to "farm" mp10.
