Your aps is really low, zuni ring is giving you paper dps but in reality it's bringing you down a lot. You must have ias on amulet and ring. Your critical hit chance is awfully low too. So start with replacing zuni ring and amulet.



yikes, why would you wanna do that? It's going to be terribly expensive and terribly inefficient build, I doubt it's viable on higher mps (like above 4).

What you want is the archon build and no, it doesn't shoot for 1billion, closer to 1 million actually Can peruse this post here for a quick guide:

Just use a standard arcon guide and buy same items but with better stats. But why would you wanna dump 800 millions on a boring solo build?

Anyone have a wiz pvp build/strategy yet?

Hey I seem to have hit a wall with my cmww wiz. Any suggestions what to go for next to finally crack 200k dps? been thinking about black weapon + apoc trium & stormcrow, since i don't want to do übers and thus fine with 2.5 breakpoint. not sure though if it would be worth it. currently crafting gloves like mad. any ideas what would be a reasonable next step?

I mostly farm mp5 and would like to go up some mps.

@paradisebunny: Don't go for black weapon. The weapons good enough to replace a good chantodo set simply don't exist, or there's only half a dozen in the world. Pretty much the only way you're beating out chant set on dmg is if you get zuni, stormcrow, trium, etc. and stack elemental dmg up the wazoo and even then it's iffy and will cost you 2b+ easily for the dagger alone if you can even find one Much cheaper recommendations: Upgrade your weapon, force or gloves (t&t with crit dmg is a possibility or just high int trifecta gloves if you're concerned more about dps).

@pincheperro: pvp and wiz probably don't belong in the same sentence, at least for this patch. We just suck at it. Comments from a one of the most geared wizzes regarding pvp:

I gotta say, you are doing it wrong. I got 133k sheet dps cm/ww wizard and I will beat your ass even if you reach that coveted 200k dps. 2,62 aps? Low all res and armor? Only 450 loh? You are doing it wrong.

i've found some decent upgrades for my SNS wizard. i'm still low on the armor and resistance scale but my eHP meets my standards and obviously in game for handling mp10 no problem.

let me know what you guys think. i've run through so many equipment configs and this is the one i like most. balance, survivability, and decent dmg.
