anyone have profiles of successful/good skorn docs ?

what kind of items and stats are you looking for when going for a skorn spec?

I just hit 60 with my WD and dont know if i want to go skorn or look for 1h + offhand

is there a minimum life steal i want to be looking for on the skorn ?

LS skorn is best for high MP because it is more mana efficient in long fights where you can't rely on mana on kill/globes etc. Get as high LS as you can. I used to have a 5.4 LS skorn but recently upgraded to 6. The 6 one makes it so that reflect damage is still life positive on MP9, whereas 5.4 would slowly drain me. I definitely wouldn't go lower than 5 and I would try to keep it above 5.7. Obviously more crit damage is nice, but it doesn't really matter since your crits are going to hit like trucks whether you have 130 CD on the skorn or 200.

All that said, I would buy a 1h/oh for starters. totd and a decent 1h is dirt cheap compared to LS skorn, and it will probably be faster paragon farming. Get a zuni set (boots/chest/ring/hat) and try to increase your dps through int/cc/cd rather than ias to keep your mana use efficient.

ill go with the 1h/offhand setup for farming and try to get a LS skorn in time, since i need one with a bit high LS it wont be cheap

would anyone want to help point out upgrades for my wd, now that I have 200 mil to work with?
only thing I can think of is 1000+ dps knife with 3%LS and 90+cd open sox - any idea on pricing for this? I'm seeing 70mil for a upper 900's one, so not sure how much more a 1000 one would be.

what other gear should I get?

Definitely get a black 1h. It doesn't have to be a ceremonial knife. Those come with mana regen but that really just cancels out the higher aps of a knife compared to a spear or mace. I would also think about a crit tal's neck and crit lacunis. Your budget will cover both of those.

What i know is i have to get a 1h Black Mace/Spear with around same stats as my Manajuma has with 1k+ dps ! ( I know shit like that costs alot but i got a nice budget back in stash)
Also after that maybe a Tal Rasha Amu with CC to boost the +X% Dmg on the Black 1h!

i don't farm much so im picking up chance on hit gear for pvp.... lost about 10% of my dps but im up to 35% chance to proc and snake in the face has a 200% coefficient on top of a 30% chance to stun.

Hopefully with some +globes gear and 700 res i can do some staying alive... gotta find a cc blackthornes for loh.

everyone is so obsessed with dps because all they can do atm is farm..

&just between us wd, im buying out the cheap lld -11 -15 and -18 req 1h weapons
