New to CM Wizards, not sure which route to take. Read through a few pages and I would like to go with the 2.73 bp, and be able to use stretch time to hit 3.01, so I would need a 1.65 aps chantodo and at least 72% attack speed on gear.

I am confused on which other gear to buy, could someone lend some help? I only want to buy once and not experiment, budget is around 1 bil.

Storm Crow, Witching Hour, Inna's Temp, Chantodo Set, Tal's Chest, Lacuni's are the must-have legendaries for the set? Which boots/ring should I use, nat's boot/ring or zuni's boot/ring, unity/ice climber, or another combination?

Eventually down the road if I can afford a high crit mempo I could drop stretch time, but for now I don't want to spend 20-30% of my budget on a helm. Am I missing anything?

See if you can get by without inna's. Try to make your eight 9 ias items be your 1) ammy (rare is fine, tal's is end-game), 2-3) rings (you can use rare or get a zuni or hellfire, many options here), 4) lacuni, 5) witching, 6) tal's chest, 7) tri-fecta gloves, 8) chant's force

Get a good weapon, force, ammy. At your budget range, the nat set is probably a good idea (cc bonus) since you're likely skimping on stats on several of the other items.

Good info here, I'll make sure all the ASI pieces are 9% that way I can wear blackthornes pants for more loh.

What boots and rings should I try to get?



1100-1300+ chantodo's with socket? What are suggested stats on a force, just high average dmg? What random property do you recommend on the force?

You prefer nat's ring + nat's boot over zuni or unity/litany/ect?

With 1b, you are probably going stormcrow helm, in which case you dont' need APOC force (you may not need APOC force period but that's up for debate at the moment). You can find 250+dmg/250+int/60+vit (these can of course roll higher) forces for a fraction of what it would cost for an apoc force, I'm selling one on the AH too haha. For rings, yeah def nat ring. If you don't have godly gear, nat ring/boots are prob better overall for you. You can certainly put a unity or whatnot as your second ring if you like but the cc bonus for nat set is likely more useful.

Several different ways to go about this but I think you'll find that with your budget, most of the gear is the same. As long as you maintain 2.74aps, ~50cc, armor/all res levels you should be ok. And of course LOH - how much is needed is debatable, previous consensus was 800 +or so in 1.06, may be lower now.

I'm sort of stuck when it comes to what i would benefit the most upgrading atm. I'm stuck between getting a tal amu with cc + avg dmg (or maybe i'll go bananas crafting for a rare amu?) - or getting a new, high DPS+LS weapon.

What's the professionals opinion about it?

Nat ring and boots on CM? GG
No Inna's Pants on CM? GG if u wanna at least reach 2,51 aps
Telling ppl to reach 2,73 aps? GG 2,51 aps is enough, with bubble u'll reach next Tornado tick and gear wouldn't be so expensive plus it helps ur whole party and urself farming solo.

And with 1b he can buy a force with apoc, will with socket, mempo, tal rasha, x3 zuni parts, and so on. Just search for right priced items. And even if he reach less DPS cos of the chant's force the EHP will be way better plus he doesn't need the raven's LoH if he can get it from 2 other pieces (one if he's not farming mp8+)


And this is a high-end discussion supposed to be leaded by high-end wizzards.
