there is a talent called "one with everything" : yout ar(all res) will be equal to  your highest elemental res.

so basicly ppl staking ar + single res on every single armorset (chest, gloves, feet, etc)

ie: if ppl staking light res then chest with 4x ar (all res) + 4x lr(light res) will award him = 80ar , then he is "light res monk"

same goes for fire, cold , etc

thanks a lot for answer! :)

that is unbuffed dmg, without faith in the light or blazing wrath, unfortunately svrs are down so i cant take screenshots now but i'll upload when i can after their back up.

i suppose right now a concern would be spirit regen and i have 1.4sec weapons for both hands. also i gave up +12%MS to benefit better stats for cheaper cuz i thought with thunderclap its not too much of a big deal (thoughts on this would be nice). i went for fast weapons for both to try and scale my +72-113dmg on items but i dont think it scaled as well as i wanted to. the only +IAS i have is on my andy's (5%) ive tried to go purely crit n crit dmg.

as far as gameplay im farming a3, i just seem to only die on elites with either firechain/desecration/molten in big groups when engaging on a good angle is a lil tricky. oh and those hard hitting double maced fat dudes (in big groups especially T_T). aside from having to just try and kite around them any tricks on how to deal with these packs?

the double maced fat dudes (malchior/golgors) you just gotta watch for their knockback swing. its pretty obv when they're about to do it, then pop serenity or blind. or kite if you dont have cooldown

even when im rolling with a barb and have 1200+ res and 8k armor, molten still fucking hurts. its pretty ridiculous, so i figure having anything more than ~850 res all is overkill. i never really have a problem with desecrate (very easy to avoid) or fire chain (doesnt seem to hurt that much??)

i just spent the gold to upgrade my boots to have ms (was rolling with 200+ dex/100+ vit/100+ res all boots before, now the same with move speed and less res) and it is a world of difference.

edit: like, move speed on boots is cutting my a3 farm time by sooo much

Yeah, MS is a great luxury stat to get! I love my Sage Seekers and I don't think I'll be taking them off my feet anytime soon.

i want to switch my monk to dual wield.
what is a good second weapon? do I really need to look into very high dps ones? those cost a lot..
I mean I do not really know how dual wield works
can some one explain a bit? thanks

worth a read imo.

+ i would highly recommend using a dps calculator befor buying anything , u can play with numbers depends on actual gear.

yeah i agree desecrate isnt too bad but for some reason firechains still burn me pretty hard, especially when they are fast or have vortex. i guess its the 690res. as for MS yeah i agree its amazing but for the stats i want, its literally x4-x5 the price :(. i tend to teleport around with thunderclap onto breakable objects ahead to make up for my lack of speed. kind of fun inbetween packs :D

I'd personally first work on getting your resists up. (Assuming you are doing act 3+)
I usually aim for a total resist of over 100-110 per armor slot (shoulder/chest/pants/belt).. so in your case I'd first replace legs and bracers.
You can sell your shoulders and get much better ones with double resist as well.
