what are peoples clear times for a3? wanna see how i stack up against other monks now that i've upgraded a few of my pieces

just timed a solo run and it took me 1 hour and 15 min to clear a3 (skycrown/stonefort, keep 1-3, rakki/siege, arreat lvl 1, tower 1-2, arreat lvl 2, tower 1-2, cydea, crater, azmo)

i usually skip bridge of korsikk because theres a million trash mobs. will do barracks if im bored but thats usually soooo huge

so your gonna be a pure tank then for the 2 dpser?
get above 7k defense and that will get you to some wat safe damage reduction amount.
next get over 900+ res, if you can hit over 1k great. more res the better.
over 1.5k+ loh be great so you can just face tank and survive long enough for the 2 dps chars to nuke shit (2k is amazing). Get 3% life steal on your weap too so it helps stack your healin.
45k+ life (more the better since you tank)

and go ahead and get a justice lantern, helm of command and a sexy rare sacred shield with desireable monk stats.

you can go ahead and stack crit chance and crit dam jewel in your weap to help up killspeed, but dont make it mandatory as your 2 dps chars are the ones killin (cause you said you only have 5m to spend, and that isnt alot to dump into a massive tank monk). ur just there for distraction and to keep shit away from the squishys.

since this is a high end monk discussion, where can i improve?

anyone can explain what that mean?

should i be trying to keep my armor: res ratio 10:1? ive been thinking i probably need more armor

5k unbuffed for a dual wield is normal.

anyone with a guideline on how much dps u need if u have 3%/6% life steal or perhaps a balance of LoH and lifesteal

there is a talent called "one with everything" : yout ar(all res) will be equal to your highest elemental res.

so basicly ppl staking ar + single res on every single armorset (chest, gloves, feet, etc)

ie: if ppl staking light res then chest with 4x ar (all res) + 4x lr(light res) will award him = 80ar , then he is "light res monk"

same goes for fire, cold , etc

I do 30k dmg have 5.7% life steal and 1k loh and i do well.
