Only have 10M to upgrade atm (until this darn witching hour I'm currently using sells) but anyhow folks I like my wd and with a few skill switches am handling mp5 fine for runs but I guess I'm looking to maybe make him more survivable so considering having a shield setup like a see a few of you guys having. Any advice on how I could switch there would be appreciated thanks!

You should try using frightening aspect on horrify for the 100% armor bonus. With GI you can have like 90%+ uptime. Otherwise you don't really have an easy way to upgrade for AR/armor - just your boots or go for rare pants.

question for bear users, what you you do about waller? every time elites have waller, it takes forever to kill them because my bears cant reach them (or my acid rain or spiders...)

I dont mind losing the regen, since spiders gets me all the mana i need, but didnt know about rot going over walls...can one even get a cc zuni helm for cheap?

also, how does one increase their EHP? mine is only around 350k, and I heard 1mil is the min one should have, but Im not sure how to gear for that without sacrificing a lot of dps (want to stay above 100k, if possible)
is it just arm and allrez? or is there more to it?

I think, arm + allres + lifesteal/loh/lifereg matters aswell. Not quite sure though.


oh, and about cc zuni helms. They're not that cheap, I sold one for 375m at AH ^^

I've been trying to increase my loh (since wd can only get 3 LS with 1H weps, and I dont feel like skorn for now), so I got blackthones pants
50 mil for cc zuni helm or upgrade other chars I guess is where Im stuck then, unless a shoulder upgrade will be cheaper? go for a 200+ int vile ward (def cant afford vit + int)?

you're getting close to the stage where you'll have to start increasing your defense as well, so AR/armor/vita will become important, i'd suggest to continue to save, though just a big dps upgrade would be going for a ~900-950 carving knife w/ a socket.

the loh is a good idea, but you'll need to get it on a ring/ammy that compliments the rest of your gear while giving you cc, cause you're definitely lacking there, and ring/ammy slots are important cc slots.

I play HC so survivability is key but I'm so frakkin' tanky right now that I was thinking about going dmg on them.

What I mainly wonder about is; How much life does leeching beasts give compared to the LoH procc from fire rune? I have ~1000 LoH

Also; Does life link give me more survivability than leeching beasts?
